Mrs. Pacheco's 2004-5 Third Grade Class |
This school year my Trucker Buddy class consists of 20 bright 3rd
graders from Mrs. Pacheco's class at Wilson Elementary School in Fresno, CA. This is my 9th year participating
in this WONDERFUL program that encourages the kids to write letters, and it also allows me to teach them safety while they're
still young (and "reachable"). They learn about geography, trade and commerce, english and letter-writing skills, and also
some math.
On this page are some of the highlights and photos taken throughout
the year, as well as pertinent articles of interest, and some of the letters they have written to me. Click on the Trucker
Buddy link below to find out more about becoming a Trucker Buddy yourself! More drivers are needed!

Mrs. Pacheco was tickled to have an opportunity to correspond with me again
and vice versa. She is an advocate of the Trucker Buddy Program and sees its advantages that help can teach these
bright youngsters many different skills that will follow them their entire life.
